After the hike (it was short) we decided to set up camp. Well, it took a super long time to find a site. Everything was so deserted and in the middle of no-where. We liked the idea of being near people. We finally found tents set up at The Rose Canyon Lake campground. We saw a site that had one large tent and one little one. Perfect! It must be a family or something. So we set up.
The strangest thing was happening, though. In the vacant campsite next to us, a fire was smoldering in the fire pit. Hmmm....campfires are NOT ALLOWED (there were signs posted everywhere). I decided it was a ghost family living next door. Kristen and Luke didn’t exactly believe me but they followed along.
